Today we did three hours of lessons as every day, and then we had some lunch. After that, we went to Coventry by bus to the Leisure Centre. Some of us didn’t want to go to the swimming pool, so we went to the shopping centre in Coventry. The others went to the pool and had a lot of fun. It was a relaxing afternoon.

ALTON TOWERS

Today, we had the most amazing day at England. It’s the day we are all waiting for…. ALTON TOWERS!!! At first, a ll met at NB at half past seven in the morning, then we went by bus to Birmingham, the Town Centre were the group of Birmingham families and BCU were waiting for us. We were all a bit nervous because of the Rides. We arrived there at ten o’clock, and then we did some groups with our friends to go to the Rides. It rains a bit, but we had no problem to go on the Rides, the one I like the most was the Nemesis.
At last, we all met at the entrance at five o’clock and then we took the bus to our homes. It was such a lovely day!!!

SWIMMING IN COVENTRY

On Friday we went to St Peter’s as a normal day, for having class with Sue, after the break we started to think what thinks we are going to do at the Get Together with the families the last Friday.
Then, we had some lunch, and at quarter past two we all met in Newbold Terrace because we had to take the Bus to Coventry, instead the Leamington Leisure Centre, where the Swimming pool is, are not open now because they are working on a better one. When we arrived to Coventry, we saw Godiva’s sculpture, and then we went by walking to the Swimming pool centre. It was great, because this pool has an enormous sledge.

At last we had some free time which we spent at the Poundland.

MINI GOLF at Saint Nicholas' Park

Yesterday we had classes as always with teacher Sue. We learnt some vocabulary and grammar as well.

After the classes we had until two o’clock some free time to have lunch and to buy several things, as chocolates, cookies, biscuits and so on. We met at the Parish Church at 2, and then we took the X17 bus to go to Warwick.

We got to St Nicholas' Park, in which we played for an hour and a half mini golf. It was very fun, because some of us were a bit bad playing mini golf. It's such as difficult!! Others, who didn’t want to play golf, had fun at the little fun fair this Park has in front of the Mini Golf.

At last, we hop on the X17 bus again to go to the Town centre, and then we had more free time until 17:30, when we all took the different buses to our houses.

VISITING STRATFORD-UPON-AVON

On Tuesday the 11th, after having the everyday English lessons, we went to Stratford- upon Avon.

We took the train at half past one from Leamington railway station to Stratford.

When we arrived there, the first thing we did was visit the outside of Shakespeare’s house, and then we walked through the streets of the Village to go to The Holy Trinity Church, in which Shakespeare’s grave is.

After that we visited the Royal Company Theatre, which is next to the river Avon. In the upper level we found an artistic face inspired in Romeo and Juliet  [Act 3, Scene 2]:

«Give me my Romeo. And when I shall die,
Take him and cut him out in little stars,
And he will make the face of heaven so fine
That all the world will be in love with night
And pay no worship to the garish sun.».

At last we had an hour of free time to do shopping, or to buy some Frappuccino. It was great!!
